Decision Tracking Board

Decision journals are an easy way to improve your ability to make decisions over time.

This concept was adapted from the Farnham Street blog based on the success we've had at Hugo using a decision journal to align our team. You can read more about decision journals here.

To use this board:

  1. Copy the description from the template card below to 'Current Decisions', complete it and set a due date for review.

  2. When the due date is hit, re-read your decision and add the actual outcome as a comment in the card. Compare the expected vs actual outcome, and then add learnings to the bottom. We recommend doing this as a team.

  3. Move the card to 'completed'. Every six months you should review these decisions so as not to lose the learnings from these decisions.
